Angelina Fulford from Prodance Studio competed at The Dance World Cup South African qualifiers winning 1st place for her Ballet Repertoire and 3rd place for her Ballet own solo. She qualified to represent South Africa at the Dance World Cup finals in Prague Czech Republic 2024. This would be the second time she has competed at the Dance World Cup finals; in 2023 she competed in Portugal. At the finals Angelina took master classes with numerous Dance Specialists including Abby Lee Miller – USA, Dane Bates – UK, Niall Mcmahon – Ireland, Emi Hariyama- Japan, Cris Penfold – London, Daria Klimetova – Czech Republic, Alan Burkitt – UK, Ishan Rustem – UK and Rebecca Davies – Australia.
Angelina was selected as a finalist by Abby Lee Miller to attend her online training classes. 9500 dancers from 54 different countries competed at the Dance World Cup finals and the South Africa team ranked 8th overall.
In 2022 Angelina was chosen to compete at the prestigious American Dance Awards as an International Junior Title Competition dancer for the American Dancer of the year in America which awarded her the opportunity to attend various masterclasses including Ali Bramwell, and the privilege of working with Madison Embrey, who choreographed the opening for the ADA Nationals.
It was an incredible experience for Angelina to learn and grow as a dancer and we congratulate her on all her amazing achievements and wish her all the best for future endeavours.
